(Prayerfully put them into action....)
1--Start with identity--if you are having a hard time stepping out in the power of the Holy Spirit to love others, it might be because you have an identity problem--because your identity is distorted from the truth of who God says you are. There is a something great about your life. You were born with purpose, and that purpose will manifest through your God-given identity as one of His children.
2--Partner with the Greatest Evangelist--that is the Holy Spirit. Simply ask for his Help. Ask the Holy Spirit to begin to mentor you and teach you how to effectively share your testimony with others.
3--Know who is with you--an awareness of His presence. Focus on it.
4--Be aware of opportunities--Ask the Holy Spirit to show you opportunities He has for you to demonstrate His love and power that day.
5--Give encouragement--maybe to someone you don't already know.
6--Heal the sick.
7--Look to love in new ways--look for opportunities to love someone who is not in your pattern of everyday life.
8--Cultivate gratitude--thankful heart is a supernatural heart. A thankful heart cultivates a heart that seeks the impossible becoming possible. Empowers us with greater compassion to reach out to others, but practicing gratitude is also an act of spiritual warfare.
9--Dream--God's peace empowers us to dream. Daydreaming activates faith.
10--Risk--In order to go where you've never been before, it might require doing something you've never done before. His directions might call you out of your comfort zone.
10 Supernatural Myth-busters:
1--Impressive gifts prove character. Celebrate the gifts of others, but refuse to be impressed by anything or anyone but Jesus.
2--Don't Judge. An out of context "don't judge" can shut down DISCERNMENT. The pitfall in discernment isn't often what we see but what we do with what we see.
3--"I could never hear God as you do."
4--"If I embrace the supernatural side of God's Kingdom, I might get a demon."
5--"Interaction with the angelic is dangerous"--100% legal and normal in the Kingdom of God. We are not to worship them.
6--Miracles are only for places like Africa.
7--The supernatural is always extraordinary.
8--A supernatural gifting means you're supposed to be in vocational ministry. Supernatural gifts do not impress God. It is about relationship and intimacy with Him, not performing for Him. We are all in full-time ministry no matter what our vocation is. It I not every Christian's goal to be in full-time vocational ministry.
9--"If I can just get one more impartation..." Sometimes God wants us to walk in what He has given, even while we eagerly set our desire for more of Him.
10--Bigger is always better.
